is Scrip?
"Scrip" is a substitute for money. It comes in the form of gift cards that can be used to purchase products or services which you already use. Scrip can be used to purchase anything from groceries, fuel, clothing, toys and cosmetics to entertainment, electronics, home improvement, or household services. Offering freedom of choice and versatility, scrip is also a great gift idea for anyone and any occasion. What makes scrip valuable is, while you use it to buy your favorite products and services, the proceeds are distributed with 75% going to the school PTO and 25% going to the parish Tuition Assistance Fund.

How
does Scrip work?
SCRIP is an amazingly easy way to generate funds for our school and is the only fundraiser that costs you nothing! St. Pius X purchases gift certificates from stores between 2% and 25% below face value. These certificates are then sold to the community at face value with St. Pius X School retaining the difference. The proceeds are distributed with 75% going to the school PTO and 25% going to the parish Tuition Assistance Fund.

How
do I order?
ShopWithScrip.com has made the Scrip process a simple, paperless way to generate funds. By logging onto their website and setting up a family account, you are ready to begin!
If you are a current family, you can log on to www.shopwithscrip.com website using your email address that is on file with the school. Your default password is “scrip123” (no quotes). You can then change that password once you are logged on.
If you are new to the parish or the school, then you can use the enrollment code 75L1477L2L72 to link your information to St. Pius X once you create an account with a valid email address.

On-line orders must be submitted by Sunday night at 11:59PM (during the school year). Checks should be returned to the school office by Tuesday morning. Scrip coordinators then gather up orders, collect non-presto pay payments and submit and distribute orders on Thursdays.

How do I pay?
Scrip Provides Two Payment Options:

PrestoPay is a convenient, paperless way for your family to pay for your Scrip gift cards. PrestoPay should be set up before placing your first order. PrestoPay debits the checking or savings account of your choice. When you log onto shopwithscrip.com you will find a PrestoPay option on the left hand sidebar. Following their simple, step by step directions will help set up your account. The process will take a day or two to verify the account numbers. You will receive two very, small, unusual amounts (.02, .12) deposited into your account. After receiving the deposit, please log back onto ShopWithScrip.com to verify those two small amounts and the activation process is finished. There is a convenience fee of $0.39 per order to use the Presto Pay service.
- You can still send in a check with your order form on Tuesday mornings.

Other ordering options?
St. Pius X offers Scrip to Go (STG) in the parent room (just inside the school’s main doors) where we sell the most popular items every week during the school year. You can find the Scrip team selling STG at the following times:
- Every Wednesday morning before All School Mass
- Every Friday morning from 7:30-8:00AM
- Every Friday afternoon from 2:30-3:15PM
- First weekend of every month after Masses
- Daily in the parish office (limited inventory)

Can I reload cards?
Yes, you can! There are many vendors that now allow you to reload cards you have already purchased through the Scrip program and SPX can still get the proft!! Vendors such as AMC Theaters, Barnes and Noble, Gap, Papa John’s, Lowe’s, and Starbucks have an option of reloading an existing card on the shopwithscrip website.
Just choose the re-load option rather than a new card when ordering. The card you want to reload must have been purchased through the Scrip program, and you must also register the card you are reloading on the shopwithscrip website.
If you use PrestoPay to pay for your order, the reload will be completed in 24-48 hours. If you pay by check, the reload will be completed 24-48 hours after the weekly order is released by the Scrip Team.
You can also reload your Kroger card directly at any Kroger store! Just take you card to the Customer Service desk, and you can reload the card with your credit card. It will be ready to use by the time you check out!
